Spicy Soy Egg Noodles

This combination of soy sauce, creamy peanut butter, and a hint of brown sugar creates a mouthwatering sauce that clings to the noodles just right. Toss in some sesame seeds and green onions for a delightful crunch, and you’ve got a meal that’s both comforting and incredibly easy to make!

Ingredients
  

  • cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tbsp chili flakes crushed
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin garlic sauce
  • ¼ cup noodle water
  • 340 grams boiled egg noodles
  • chopped green onion for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot over medium-high heat, boil the egg noodles according to the package. Add salt according to taste to the water!
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and minced garlic. Saute until golden brown. Add in the sesame seeds, chili flakes, paprika, soy sauce, vinegar, peanut butter, brown sugar, fish sauce, and garlic sauce. Cook until thickened and beginning to boil.
  • Reduce flame to low and add in the pasta water. Mix until combined. Toss boiled egg noodles with sauce and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh green onion and sesame seeds, enjoy!
