Chocolate Marbled Banana Bread

Indulge in the perfect blend of rich chocolate and sweet banana, a delightful twist on the classic, it combines moist, fluffy banana bread with decadent chocolate swirls, creating a truly irresistible treat.

Ingredients
  

  • cups mashed overripe bananas about 3 bananas
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder + 1 tbsp yogurt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350F (175 C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and add a parchment paper with overhang to easily remove.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas and mash with a fork until pulpy. Add the melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and yogurt. Whisk to combine.
  • Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined, then mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Remove 1 cup of the batter and add it to a separate bowl. Sift in the cocoa powder and add the tablespoon of yogurt, mix until no streaks remain.
  • Add ¾ of the plain batter into the loaf pan, then add all of the chocolate layer and give that a swirl with a knife. Add the remaining plain batter and top off with some more chocolate.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 55-60 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
