Chocolate Marbled Banana Bread

Indulge in the perfect blend of rich chocolate and sweet banana, a delightful twist on the classic, it combines moist, fluffy banana bread with decadent chocolate swirls, creating a truly irresistible treat.
This chocolate marbled banana bread has quickly become one of my all-time favorite things to bake. I’m always excited to pull it out of the oven—there’s nothing better than the sweet smell of banana bread mingling with rich, melted chocolate. I can’t help but sneak a piece while it’s still warm, and honestly, I could honestly eat half the loaf in one sitting. And now you can make it too!

Let’s Get Baking!

Preheat the oven to 350F (175 C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and add a parchment paper with overhang to easily remove. In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas and mash with a fork until pulpy. Add the melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and yogurt. Whisk to combine.   Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined, then mix in the chocolate chips.   Remove 1 cup of the batter and add it to a separate bowl. Sift in the cocoa powder and add the tablespoon of yogurt, mix until no streaks remain. Add ¾ of the plain batter into the loaf pan, then add all of the chocolate layer and give that a swirl with a knife. Add the remaining plain batter and top off with some more chocolate.   Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 55-60 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.   Enjoy! This banana bread keeps well on the counter for up to a week, if it lasts that long that is!   Check out the video on how to make it:
