Preheat the oven to 350F (175 C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and add a parchment paper with overhang to easily remove. In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas and mash with a fork until pulpy. Add the melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and yogurt. Whisk to combine.

Chocolate Marbled Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 1½ cups mashed overripe bananas about 3 bananas
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter melted
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- ½ cup yogurt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder + 1 tbsp yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F (175 C). Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and add a parchment paper with overhang to easily remove.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas and mash with a fork until pulpy. Add the melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and yogurt. Whisk to combine.
- Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined, then mix in the chocolate chips.
- Remove 1 cup of the batter and add it to a separate bowl. Sift in the cocoa powder and add the tablespoon of yogurt, mix until no streaks remain.
- Add ¾ of the plain batter into the loaf pan, then add all of the chocolate layer and give that a swirl with a knife. Add the remaining plain batter and top off with some more chocolate.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 55-60 minutes. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
