Loaded Rotini Pizza

This pasta pizza features a fluffy pizza dough topped with saucey rotini, three-types of cheese, and seasoned ground beef that's sure to become a family favorite!
Makes: 1 16" pizza

Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough:

  • 2 cups bread flour
  • ½ tbsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • cup lukewarm water

Pizza:

  • 5 oz dry rotini or any type of pasta boiled and drained
  • pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ cup Mozzarella
  • ½ cup Parmesan
  • 1 cup seasoned and cooked ground beef
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers
  • cup diced onion
  • italian seasoning
  • dried thyme

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the oil and water and mix until a dough begins to form.
  • Knead for about 10 minutes or until the dough becomes soft and smooth. Grease the bowl with some oil, then cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 425F.
  • Once doubled, transfer to a floured baking mat and roll out into a 16" circle. Transfer to the pizza pan and crimp the edges to make a crust. Bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and spread the pasta sauce evenly over the top. Follow with the pasta, all 3 types of cheese, bell pepper, ground beef, diced onion, and italian seasoning.
  • Bake for another 10-13 minutes or until the crust is a golden brown. Enjoy warm!
