If you were to ask me what my favorite dessert is, I would say Tiramisu without any hesitation. Multiple layers of coffee soaked biscuits, creamy custard, and a light whipped cream that melts in your mouth— it has no competition.

I would happily polish off a whole tray of it by myself. There’s no calories in the good things in life. With that said, we all know I’m not one for talking much so!
Let’s get making!
In a large saucepan, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until combined. Whisk in the milk. Place on stovetop over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and boil for a minute until thickened; remove from heat. Place plastic wrap on to milk mixture and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Add the mascarpone/cream cheese mixture into the cooled milk mixture and beat together until combined, set aside. In a separate bowl, add the heavy cream and vanilla and beat until stiff, set aside.
Take your prepared coffee and pour into a shallow bowl. Quickly dip both sides of the ladyfingers in the coffee one by one and arrange in a 9×13 rectangle dish, making sure to completely cover the bottom. You want the fingers soaked but not soggy.
Spread half of the cheese mixture over the fingers, then spread half of the whipped cream over the cheese layer. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers, cheese mixture, and whipped cream.
Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for 5 hours or until firm. Enjoy!
