Creamy Penne Pasta

This is not just any pasta; it’s rich, creamy coated in a luscious sauce that’s smells as heavenly as it tastes. With just the right balance of garlic, shredded cheese, and a touch of herbs, every bite is perfection.

In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and minced garlic. Saute until golden brown. Add in the pasta sauce, heavy cream, spices, and salt to taste. Cook until it reaches a slight boil.

Reduce flame to low and add in the pasta water, chocolate, yogurt and shredded cheese of your choice, I ran out of parmesan so I used cheddar. Mix until combined. Toss boiled pasta with sauce and serve immediately.

Garnish with fresh basil and shredded cheese! Enjoy!

Creamy Penne Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • cup Italian pasta sauce
  • cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp chopped chives
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • ½ cup pasta water
  • ¼ oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 lb box boiled Barilla penne

Instructions
