Tiramisu Hot Chocolate

This decadent drink combines velvety hot chocolate with hints of coffee and mascarpone, topped with cocoa dust and a touch of vanilla. A cozy, dessert-inspired treat perfect for any chilly day!

As I’m sure you know by now, I love tiramisu. I love the traditional one, I love the variations, I love the different types.

So OF COURSE I had to make a tiramisu hot chocolate— combining my two loves together. It tastes EXACTLY like a tiramisu but with a quarter of the make time. It’s a win win situation, really.

Let’s get started!

In a medium sized saucepan over low heat, add the milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, instant coffee, and chocolate chips. Mix to combine.

Once the chocolate has melted and the milk is beginning to simmer, remove from heat. Strain if needed.

In a small bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. I used a fork but you can always use a hand mixer!

Pour the hot chocolate into a glass of your choice, top off with the cream, a dusting of cocoa powder, and serve with a ladyfinger biscuit! Enjoy you dessert turned drink!
