They have all the deliciousness of pizza but they only take 10-minutes— a win win in my book. Perfect as a snack or as a side-dish, you can’t go wrong with these cute little buns!
Let’s get started!
In a medium sized pot, add the butter and melt it down, stir the butter constantly to keep it moving. Once melted, the butter will begin to foam and sizzle around the edges. Once it begins to smell buttery and nutty, remove from heat. Mix in the garlic, chili, black pepper, dried basil, and italian seasoning.
Preheat oven to 350F, line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper.
If not already cut, slice open the slider buns lengthwise and brush with the brown butter mixture. Then add a layer of marinara sauce.
Follow with both types of shredded cheese, and finally the pepperoni— I’m using vegan pepperoni but you can use whichever you prefer. Cover with the top half of the buns, and brush with the rest of the brown butter mixture.
Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted, remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Cut into pieces and serve hot! These are best eaten the day of!
