Smoky Black Sesame Tea Latte

This isn't just any kind of tea latte—it's a rich, creamy blend of robust black sesame and a hint of smokiness making each sip a cozy, indulgent delight!

Let’s face it, there aren’t as many flavorful tea recipes out there as there are coffee, so I’m going to change that! Starting with a Smoky Black Sesame Latte that’s all kind of perfect. The black sesame brings a nutty depth that’s perfectly complemented by a subtle smoky note, creating something that’s entirely unique and 100% delicious.

 

Let’s brew some tea!

For the tea concentrate: add 1 tea bag of Harney and Sons Black Cask Bourbon Tea to 1/2 cup of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes. Set aside while you prepare the rest of the drink.
 

In a separate glass, combine the heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, and Black Sesame Spread. Using a hand frother, froth together the mixture— you might need to break down the paste with a spoon first.

Add some ice to a glass, add the milk, tea concentrate, brown sugar, and top off with the foam!

 

Enjoy the rich, smokiness mellowed out with creamy milk!

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup Harney & Sons Black Cask Bourbon Tea
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

black sesame foam:

  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sesaole black sesame paste

Instructions
 

  • For the tea concentrate: add 1 tea bag to 1/2 cup of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  • Froth together the black sesame foam ingredients, you might need to break down the paste with a spoon first.
  • Add some ice to a glass, add the milk, tea concentrate, sugar, and top off with the foam! Stir and enjoy!
