Coffee Banana Bread French Toast

The ultimate breakfast treat— thick slices of banana bread soaked in rich coffee batter, then pan fried until golden-brown and crispy. It’s the perfect blend of cozy and indulgent, making every bite irresistible!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices banana bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp instant coffee

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave safe cup, add the heavy cream and microwave for 10 seconds, remove and mix in the instant coffee until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, add the eggs, sugar, salt, and coffee heavy cream and mix until smooth.
  • Melt a slice of butter on a frying pan over medium heat. Add the banana bread slices to the milk mixture and allow to soak until saturated.
  • Cook the bread on the pan until golden brown on both sides.
  • Transfer to a plate and finish off with a drizzle of syrup, enjoy warm!
