Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Muffins

These bakery style chocolate chip muffins are the perfect start to your day— they're soft, fluffy, and packed with just the right amount of chocolate chips!

Today we’re making something that’s guaranteed to make your mornings a little brighter: chocolate chip muffins. A warm, freshly baked muffin, with a golden crust and a center that melts in your mouth, what more could you want? I can’t wait for you to taste these—they’re a little bit of joy in every bite!

You know what’s even better than a batch of fresh, homemade muffins? When the cleanup is just as easy. For these muffins all you need is a single bowl and a whisk, and you’re all set!

Let’s get baking!

Preheat the oven to 425F.

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Whisk in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until there are no lumps and you have a smooth batter. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Line a muffin tray with 12 cupcake liners and divide the batter evenly. Bake at 425°F for 5 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 375°F and continue to bake for another 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool for about 5-10 minutes and enjoy warm with a glass of milk or tea!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425F.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Whisk in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until there are no lumps and you have a smooth batter. Fold in the chocolate chips.
