Tiramisu Fudge Brownies

It's impossible to elevate brownies or tiramisu, but this combination of them is about to become your new obsession. Rich, fudgy brownies are soaked in coffee and layered with creamy mascarpone, giving you all the flavors of classic tiramisu in one bite-sized treat.

I have to admit, I might be a little obsessed with these tiramisu brownies. They started as a “what if I combine two of my favorites?” kind of experiment, and somehow ended up being ridiculously good. Imagine the rich, fudgy chocolate brownies you already love, but layered with that silky, dreamy tiramisu cream and a hint of espresso to wake up your taste buds.

Honestly, I’ve lost count of how many I’ve eaten straight from the pan… and I’m not even sorry.

Let’s get started!

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and line an 8×8″ pan with parchment paper, set aside.

In a large bowl, beat together the butter with both sugars until smooth. Beat in the eggs and heavy cream until fluffy.

Whisk in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and instant coffee until smooth. Transfer to the lined pan and bake for 20-25 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool to room temperature.

In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and heavy cream until softened. Then whisk in the instant coffee, sugar, and salt until smooth.

Evenly poke all over the brownie base with a fork and pour the sweetened coffee over it. Allow to soak completely. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled brownie layer. Grate chocolate over it until the top is covered. Refrigerate for 2 hours until set.

Cut yourself a slice (or two) and enjoy!
