As you pour rich, velvety maple syrup over the top, it cascades down the sides, pooling invitingly on the plate. The syrup glistens in the morning light, promising a sweet, indulgent experience. With every bite, you’ll savor the soft, airy texture of the pancakes, perfectly complemented by the natural sweetness of the apples and the rich, buttery notes of the syrup. It’s a breakfast that feels like a warm hug, leaving you craving just one more delicious bite!
Let’s make some pancakes!
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, and cinnamon powder. Once combined, whisk in the milk, melted butter, and egg until smooth. Chop an apple into small ¼ inch pieces and then fold it into the pancake batter.
Add some butter to a pan over medium-high heat. Once melted, scoop about a 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy!
